Surprisingly enough, I’m not the fanatic type. Very few artists can claim me as a fan, and I’m pretty certain that I am not anyone’s number one fan.
However, there are some artists that have my undying appreciation of their music including:
Fergie Ferg… LOVE HER.
Beyonce… Always in the cd player and on the iPod. And, my favorite two pairs of jeans are from the House of Dereon collection. They fit so well :o) Love Her!
Alicia Keys… I love her music, and I love that she is herself, no matter what. An admirable quality.
Vanessa Carlton… I really like Nolita Fairytale. Once on my list of favorites an artist has do to something extremely distasteful to be dropped.
Flyleaf… Lacey has the most amazing voice, and she’s using it to praise God.
And drum roll please…
Danity Kane!! I blast this cd everywhere I go.
Let me first say that I think Diddy is brilliant. The show gets the viewer so involved in the lives of the group that we feel like we know the members personally. We get to see their moments of happiness and even their hurts. We see when they make the band, and then we watch as they struggle to feel like part of the band. I'll never forget when Dawn said, "I'm just gonna be the 'ooh' girl. I'll never really be part of the group." Fast forward to now on the sophomore album, where we see the group excited about their song written by Dawn - one of my favorites - When the Lights Go Out. We get to watch them grow :o)
Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. We become so connected to not just the process of making the band, but the people in the band. That connection compels us to purchase the cd. More so, we listen to it with an encouraging ear instead of a critical one. I’ll say it one more time for measure… Brilliant.
So, I love my Danity Kane cd.
I just felt like saying that to someone :o)

I totally agree with the whole DK thing. I have watched them from the first season. You really do feel as if this is your friend, therefore wanting them to succeed. Dawn is my favorite. I love her spirit.
I know!! Dawn has a heart of gold. She had me crying when the voice coach (I forget his name) was trying to get her to open up emotionally. Sigh. I like Andrea too. I sense she is a compassionate person, and Shannon is so calm and relaxed. I like that Aubrey is so... free :o) And I love that D. Woods is comfortable being her self, and having her own style. Now, where's my iPod? :o)
